Pet Therapeutic LASER at Alton Animal Clinic

Therapeutic LASER treatments are a non-invasive and pain-free procedure that applies different wavelengths and outputs of low-level light directly to a targeted area. The body tissue then absorbs the light and the red and near-infrared light causes a reaction, and the damaged cells respond with a physiological reaction that promotes regeneration. Improvements are often seen after the first visit, however, the frequency and duration of treatments needed will vary as LASER treatments are cumulative. Most treatments last no longer than 10 minutes.
