What Does Your First Visit Include?
A comprehensive physical examination including:
- Weight check/Body Condition Score
- Lungs and heart check
- Ears, eyes, nose, skin, and teeth check
- Abdominal palpation
- Musculoskeletal system check
- Discuss flea, tick control, vaccines, and heartworm preventative
- A fecal examination is recommended
During the exam, we will discuss appropriate vaccination and deworming schedules. At any point during the exam, our friendly veterinarian or veterinary nurse will answer any of your questions.
