Sarah, Practice Manager
Practice Manager
Sarah joined our team in 2020 as a Client Service Representative, bringing with her a strong background in management, marketing, and graphic design. It didn’t take long for her leadership, vision, and heart for veterinary care to shine, and in 2022 she stepped confidently into the role of Practice Manager.
Sarah is the proud (and very busy!) mom of five amazing kids—Sam, Matt, Alli, Wyatt, and Chase—and a grandson affectionately known as “Critter” (Wil). Her home is filled with joyful chaos and a whole lot of animals. Most recently, she added an energetic Australian Shepherd named Hudson to the family. Hudson is often seen at the clinic, winning hearts, supervising the front desk, and reminding everyone how important enrichment and exercise are for our working breeds!
When she’s not at the clinic, Sarah loves spending time in her flower gardens, tackling home design projects, or making weekend trips to Tennessee to visit one of her daughters.
Veterinary medicine is truly a family affair for Sarah. Two of her daughters have pursued the Veterinary Technician path, and her passion for animal care runs deep. In her spare time, you’ll likely find her outdoors with her partner Jacob, soaking up the sunshine, making memories, and cherishing the small, meaningful moments that make life so sweet.
Her warmth, dedication, and lifelong love for animals make her a treasured part of our clinic family. Her favorite quote beautifully reflects her spirit:
“Our greatest glory is not in never failing, but in rising up every time we fail.” – Ralph Waldo Emerson
Haley, CVTg, CSMP
Haley graduated in 2017 with an Associate of Applied Science in Veterinary Medical Technology from Central Carolina Community College and became a Certified Veterinary Technician the same year. She has spent her career working in small animal general practice, where she developed a special interest in physical rehabilitation. In June 2024, Haley became a Certified Small Animal Myofascial Practitioner through North Carolina State and went on to complete her Bachelor of Science in Veterinary Technology from the University of Missouri in May 2025.
Outside of work, Haley enjoys spending quality time with her family and training her German Shepherd, Blue.
Wil, Veterinary Assistant
Veterinary Assistant
Wil has been working as a Veterinary Assistant since 1989, bringing decades of hands-on experience and a lifelong connection with animals to everything he does. His path into veterinary medicine was a natural one—he has always felt a deep bond with animals and knew early on that he wanted to dedicate his life to caring for them.
At Alton Animal Clinic, Wil especially values the opportunity to make a difference in the lives of pets and the families who love them. Helping animals feel better and supporting clients during important moments is what keeps him passionate about his work year after year.
Outside of the clinic, Wil and his wife, Sheree, share a deep love for the dog world. He has been showing and breeding dogs since 1990 and actively competes in dock diving, obedience, and conformation events with their American Staffordshire Terriers and Miniature Bull Terriers. His dedication to preserving breed excellence and competing at a high level reflects both skill and heart.
When he’s not training or competing, Wil enjoys spending time in the kitchen—cooking is one of his favorite creative outlets. A fun fact about him: his favorite animal is the wolverine, a creature he admires for its strength, resilience, and determination. Wil is also multilingual, allowing him to connect with and serve a diverse range of clients.
His favorite quote perfectly captures his perseverance and enthusiasm:
“Success consists of going from failure to failure without loss of enthusiasm.” – Winston Churchill

Kim, CSR
Client Service Representative
With over five years of experience in the veterinary field, Kim brings both knowledge and enthusiasm to her role at Alton Animal Clinic, where she has been a valued team member for the past four months. From day one, her warm personality and genuine love for animals have made her a wonderful addition to the clinic family.
What she enjoys most about her position is building relationships—meeting new clients, getting to know their stories, and forming lasting connections with their pets. She understands that veterinary medicine is just as much about people as it is about animals, and she takes pride in helping create a welcoming, positive experience for everyone who walks through the door.
At home, her life is just as animal-filled. She shares it with her husband, two dogs, three cats, and multiple saltwater fish—making her household a lively and loving environment. Clients may even spot one of her dogs, Maverick, occasionally “assisting” behind the front desk and charming visitors with his friendly presence.
Outside of work, she enjoys hiking, hosting game nights with friends, and spending as much time as possible with her pets. Whether she’s exploring the outdoors or relaxing at home, her passion for animals is always at the center of her world.
Cheyanne, CSR
Client Service Representative
Cheyanne has been a bright and caring part of the Alton Animal Clinic team for nearly a year. Drawn by her love of animals, she joined the clinic to be surrounded by wagging tails, purring patients, and a team that feels like family. One of her favorite parts of the job? Getting to see all the adorable puppies that come through the door—and, of course, sharing laughs with her amazing coworkers.
At home, Cheyanne’s heart (and home!) is full with three beloved dogs—Dobby, Jack, and Stormy—and two charismatic cats, Theon and Loki. It’s no surprise that her favorite animals are cats, cows, and dogs—each one full of personality and charm.
When she’s not at work, you can often find her trackside, cheering on her husband at races, her favorite way to spend the weekend. She’s his biggest fan and loves supporting his passion just as much as he supports hers.
Something many don’t know about Cheyanne is that she has dreams of going back to school to become a radiologic technician. Her compassion and drive shine through in everything she does, and her favorite quote is a reflection of her strength and encouragement for others: “You were given this mountain to show others it can be moved.”
